Enjoy Enchanted Trail this Friday

The next Enchanted Trail is this Friday, Oct. 16! Enjoy a story and scavenger hunt as you walk the small trail in the woods behind Timbrook Library. For pre-K and elementary school ages and their families. From 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. This is a completely outdoor event, so please dress to be outside for about half an hour, and sensible shoes are needed for the trail. The trail is not stroller friendly.

LEGO® + Labrary will be at our Rustburg location this Tuesday, Oct. 13, 3 – 5 p.m. This is a STEM program for kids to explore activities like LEGO® bricks, circuits, and more. Grades K – 6 and their families. Please note: We will not have LEGO® + Labrary or Homeschool Meetup next Tuesday, Oct. 20.

Our LEGO® + Labrary STEM program starts an hour early (2 – 3 p.m.) just for families who homeschool. If you are having a great time, stay past the early bird hour and continue exploring! For grades K – 6 and their families. On Oct. 13, we’ll be at our Rustburg location.

We will hold Storytime at each of our locations this week but will temporarily pause it next week, Oct. 19 – 23. We will return with Storytime for the week of Oct. 26 and continue through Nov. 12.

Storytime is geared for ages 3 – 5, and the whole family is welcome, too. We have story readings at the beginning, and these may include books, songs, rhymes, scarves, and more. Coming soon! Our annual Trick-or-Treat Trail will be on Saturday, Oct. 24, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.. Stop by booths to trick-or-treat for candy and walk through the Halloween StoryWalk® Trail in your best costumes. Enjoy an outdoor candy adventure game, fun activities, a food truck, wonder-fall decorations, and a free book for each child!

It will be on the Rustburg Village Trail, which is behind the Citizen Services building off Carden Lane. Parking will be available in the Citizen Services and Social Services parking lots. This event is for children, teens, and families.

Join us at the Timbrook Park Pavilion where we will read the selected book on and off throughout the event, do themed crafts, and play yard games. Stop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., bring a snack (optional), and enjoy the day! Geared toward ages 0 – 5 and their families.

Join us for our 7th annual Holiday Market at the Campbell County Historic Courthouse in Rustburg on Friday, Nov. 6, 4 – 7 p.m.! Enjoy a cozy evening outdoors filled with white lights, craft vendors, music, food, and holiday spirit. This event will feature local vendors that sell unique handmade or homemade items that would make great decorations and/or gifts for the holidays.

The Holiday Market is in partnership with the Campbell County Historical Society and the Campbell County Public Library Foundation. The Historic Courthouse is at 774 Village Highway, Rustburg. The rain date for this event will be Sunday, Nov. 8.
