Library closing hours for Labor Day holiday

All CCPLS locations will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 5, and Monday, Sept. 7, for the Labor Day holiday. We will reopen with our regular hours on Tuesday, Sept. 8. All of our digital services will continue to be available 24/7. Have a safe and fun holiday!

Storytime returns this week with our Fall Session, which will run through Nov. 12. Story readings will happen at the beginning and may include books, songs, rhymes, scarves, and more. Craft and play stations will be available after the reading. Geared for ages 3 – 5, and the whole family is welcome, too. No registration is required. Storytime Picnic continues this Thursday and will be held each Thursday through Oct. 29! Join us at the Timbrook Park Pavilion between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. We will read the selected book on and off throughout the event, do themed crafts, and play yard games. Bring a snack (optional) and enjoy the day! Geared toward ages 0 – 5 and their families.

LEGO® + Labrary starts this week for the months of September, October, and November! It is a STEM program for kids to explore, and stations will be set up for children to select which activities they would like to try, including LEGO® bricks, circuits, and more. Grades K – 6 and their families. On Tuesdays from 3 – 5 p.m.

Weary adventurers, as harvest closes in and the leaves begin to turn, it's finally a chance for some downtime. At least, that's what you thought. Now weird things are happening in the cozy little town. Rumors of a wizard swirl around you and for some reason, a really angry sheep seems to be following you around! Can you unravel this woolen mystery and save this village from a baaaa-d turn of events?
