Join us for a baby “block” party honoring our Babygarten babies and Tot Time tots this Wednesday, July 15, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Timbrook Library (Lower Level). There will be adorable decorations, light refreshments, and of course, blocks! Families from all libraries are invited to this sweet community celebration. For ages 0 – 3 years and their families.

We’ll be at our Timbrook and Rustburg locations this Thursday, July 16, for the last two Dino-Sized Storytime Shows + After-Show Exploration Stations this summer. The interactive storytime shows will be during the first half-hour, and then the after-show exploration stations, which may include crafts, science experiments, LEGOs, and more, will be available for an hour. You are welcome to come only for the exploration stations if you prefer. Geared for ages 3 – 10 years. No registration is required.

 

Timbrook: 10 – 11:30 a.m.

Rustburg: 2 – 3:30 p.m.

The next Enchanted Trail will be this Friday, July 17, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Enjoy a scavenger hunt and story as you walk the small trail in the woods behind Timbrook Library. For pre-K and elementary school ages and their families.

 

Be sure to dress appropriately to be outside for about half an hour, and sensible shoes are a must. This is a completely outdoor event, and the trail is not stroller friendly.

Next week! We are hosting the Summer Reading Grand Finale Street Fair in Rustburg on Saturday, July 25, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This annual event is for the whole family and is a celebration of our community and how much we read this summer! There will be food trucks, 60+ vendors, kids’ activities, giveaways, and much more! The majority of the event will be outside in the County Complex around the Campbell County Public Library in Rustburg, but activities will also be inside the library and Historic Courthouse. Everyone is welcome! Free entry.

Jigsaw, crossword, logic, and more? Enjoy a morning of puzzles galore! Grab the grandkids and swing by to work a wide range of puzzles together and swap a box, if you choose. This is a Living Life Well Program, but all ages are welcome to enjoy together!
