Spring Break Art Week is next week! It will include book + art at each of our locations. Families will listen to a story and create two art projects inspired by the storytime book. Geared toward ages 5 – 17. No registration required. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the following dates:

graphic for Imagination Paint Classes April 7 and April 10 2026
Come paint with your peers! Imagination Station Studios will be at two of our locations during Spring Break Art Week. The classes are free, but registration is required.
 
Ceramic Character Class will be at our Brookneal location on Tuesday, April 7. Choose a ceramic character out of a large assortment and then paint it however you’d like!
 
Preschool Class (ages 3 – 5): 10 – 10:45 a.m.
Kids Class (ages 5 – 8): 1 – 2 p.m.
 
Step-by-Step Painting Class will be at Timbrook Library on Friday, April 10. Follow along with a skilled instructor as you paint a beautiful scene on your own canvas!
 
Preteen Class (ages 8 – 11): 10 – 11 a.m.
Teen Class (ages 12 – 17): 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Join us each Thursday through May 28 for Storytime Picnic. This program is different from our regular storytimes and is located at the Timbrook Park Pavilion between the library and baseball fields. We will read the selected book on and off throughout the event, do a themed craft, and play yard games. Bring a snack (optional) and swing by anytime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. For children ages 0 – 5 and their families.
