Settle in for friendly conversation and a cup of tea while sharing our favorite travel tips, tricks, and stories! Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or just starting to plan your next getaway, explore ideas and inspiration in good company. This event will be at our Rustburg location this Friday, March 6, 2 – 3 p.m. For ages 18+.

The Enchanted Trail is set for this Friday, March 6, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.! This is an immersive, outdoor story experience for families to enjoy on the Timbrook Park trails. A small trail in the woods behind Timbrook Library is transformed with decorations and a story. Families are given a scavenger hunt to enjoy as they walk the trail and read the story together. For pre-K and elementary school ages and their families.

Starting next Monday, pick up a simple and silly kit (while supplies last) to create a leprechaun trap at home! Households are welcome to grab one kit per child. Pick your kit up from any CCPLS location March 9 – 14 during regular business hours.

Meet us at the Staunton River Memorial Library in Altavista on Wednesday, March 18, 4 – 5 p.m. and help us help the planet! We have adopted the street in front of the library, which means that we will help keep it litter free. Once every season, we invite you to our Adopt-A-Street day! We have everything you will need: bags, gloves, vests, and grabbers.

This is an outdoor event and will be weather permitting. All ages are welcome, and a guardian must be present for ages 17 and under.

Join us for games of bingo for a fun social hour for seniors! The Senior Bingo Social will be held at Patrick Henry Memorial Library in Brookneal on Tuesday, March 24, 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. For more information, contact Miranda at 434-313-3106 or mglawhorn@co.campbell.va.us.

Celebrate National Agriculture Day, shortened to Ag Day, with us at the Patrick Henry Memorial Library in Brookneal on Tuesday, March 24, 4 – 5 p.m.! This event for all ages will include an agricultural storytime.

Children and teens can also compete in our Ag Day LEGO® Contest. What does Ag Day mean to you? Build a LEGO® creation answering that question at our event, and then the community can vote for their favorite the following week. Age categories are 4 – 10 years and 11 – 17 years. The winners will get a prize.
