Valentine’s Day book + art this Saturday

This Saturday, Feb. 14! Kids, teens, and families are invited to stop by Timbrook Library (Lower Level) between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. and create special valentines with us. A story will be read periodically throughout the event, and all materials will be provided for two art projects inspired by the book.

This cozy romantasy-inspired slumber party for adults is next week! Slip into your comfiest pajamas and slippers for magic, mischief, and delight. We will have stations set up throughout the library for activities like making friendship bracelets, photo opportunities, a Book Chat style area to talk about books read (spoilers ahead!), playing MASH, a scavenger hunt, printmaking, and food. For ages 18+.

Coming soon! Fort Night for children, teens, and families will be on Friday, Feb. 27, 6:30 – 8 p.m., at our Rustburg location. Work together to build your family fort and defend your land from library staff. We will provide cardboard and duct tape for forts, and you are also welcome to bring your own supplies like markers, tape, scissors, etc. Registration is required via Eventbrite.
